What is the World Scholar's Cup?
The World Scholar's Cup is an international academic programme that celebrates learning, creativity, and teamwork. Teams of three students compete across four events: Scholar's Bowl, Collaborative Writing, Scholar's Challenge, and Team Debate, in six subject areas. The season culminates at the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
Who can participate in the WSC?
The WSC is open to school students in two divisions: Juniors (Ages 11 to 14) and Seniors (Ages 15 to 18). No prior experience is needed. Two-thirds of WSC participants have never debated before. Every student can find their strength.
How does a school register?
Schools register through Frontiers Education, India's exclusive WSC partner. Contact us using the information above or call us directly. We will guide you through the registration process, prepare students with study materials, and handle all logistics for the regional round and global events.
Are students safe while travelling?
Student safety is our highest priority. All programmes include dedicated tour directors, 24/7 emergency support, comprehensive travel insurance, and rigorous pre-trip safety briefings. We have operated student travel programmes for over a decade with an excellent safety record.
Do you handle visas and travel arrangements?
Yes, we handle everything. Frontiers Education takes care of visa documentation, flight bookings, hotel accommodation, local transport, meals, and attraction tickets. Parents and students simply focus on preparing for and enjoying the experience.
How far in advance should we register?
We recommend registering as early as possible, ideally 3 to 4 months before the regional round, to allow sufficient preparation time and ensure availability. Popular regional rounds fill up quickly. Contact us and we'll let you know the next available dates.
